1 tsp vanilla essence

1 TBSP oil

2½ cups flour

METHOD

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add vanilla, oil and flour, mix to make a soft, smooth dough.( Add a little more flour if too sticky)

Add sprinkles to a piece of parchment paper.

Shape dough into a log ( as thin or as thick as you want but not to thin,as you will get very small biscuits).

Now roll the log over the sprinkles, covering the logs outside surface completely with sprinkles.

Wrap log in cling wrap and refrigerate for no less than 15 minutes

Before baking slice into rounds, place on lightly greased and lined baking sheet and bake at 180⁰C for 15 to 20 minutes.

NOTES

Can be made into a chocolate version just add ¼cup cocoa powder and 2 cups flour.

when shaping please roll into log on a parchment paper or lightly floured surface so the dough doesn't stick to table.
