My Homemade Eid Milk Recipe with Love ❤️

My Homemade Eid Milk Recipe with Love ❤️

In Muslim households, Eid celebrations are often accompanied by a variety of traditional dishes, each with its own unique touch, and I'm excited to share my take on Eid Milk with all of you! It's a delightful treat that adds warmth and sweetness to the festive occasion. I hope you give it a try and find it as heartwarming and enjoyable as we do in our home. ❤️❤️❤️

Ingredients:

1 cup Vermicelli
1 liter Milk
1 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Condensed Milk
1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
7 to 8 almonds, sliced or crushed
Raisins (optional) (I usually omit these as my daughter and husband prefer it without)
2 tablespoons butter

Method:

1. Begin by heating the butter in a pan. Add the sliced or crushed almonds and, if using, the raisins, and gently fry them until they turn a beautiful golden brown on low heat.

2. Once the nuts are toasted, introduce the vermicelli into the pan and continue frying until you notice it taking on a light golden hue.

3. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring the mixture gently to incorporate the vermicelli. Allow this delightful combination to simmer over medium heat until it reaches a gentle boil.

4. Once the mixture starts boiling, add the sugar and condensed milk, ensuring everything is thoroughly combined. Let it cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the vermicelli to soften and soak in the flavors on medium flame.

5. As a final touch, sprinkle in the fragrant cardamom powder, gently stirring it into the mix, and then turn off the flame.

6. To finish, garnish this sweet concoction with the beautifully toasted nuts.

Savor this heartwarming treat while it's warm, letting the comforting flavors of milk, vermicelli, and aromatic spices engulf your senses. The sweetness of this Eid Milk perfectly complements the joyous atmosphere of celebration during Eid. It's not just a delightful dessert; it's a dish that brings families together, creating beautiful memories with every spoonful. ❤️🥛✨

So, on this special occasion, I invite you to try this cherished recipe and embrace the flavors that make Eid celebrations even more memorable.

May your Eid be filled with happiness, love, and the sweetness of cherished traditions. Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones!
