 CHURROS POPPERS 

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup water

2-1/2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup all-purpose flour

Oil for frying


In a medium bowl add the ½ cup sugar and cinnamon mix and set aside.


in a saucepan on medium heat add the water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil and then remove it from the heat. Stir in the flour to form a ball.


When the dough is cool enough to handle, scoop and lightly roll the dough into small balls . Fry balls, few at a time, being sure not to overcrowd the pan until golden brown. Remove from the oil and immediately in the bowl of cinnamon sugar.


Remove to a plate while you repeat the process with the remaining dough.


SERVE WITH HOT CHOCOLATE SAUCE
