CHICKEN PIE FILLING AND CURRY VEGETABLE PIE FILLING

Chicken and Vegetable Pie Filling for a Delicious Feast

INGREDIENTS 

3-4 chicken fillets cut in small cubes

1 tablespoon chicken spice

1Tblsp ginger garlic paste

1 tablespoon peri peri marinade

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder

1 teaspoon crushed red chilli

Salt to taste

METHOD 

Marinate chicken with all of the above and leave covered it soak up for 1 hour. Cook well with 2 TBSP butter and 1 TBsp oil.

When chicken is fully cooked Remove from stove and keep aside to cool.

Take 2 medium chopped onions, chopped finely,and 1 red or green pepper any Saute in 2 tablespoon oil,remove and cool,then add to the cooked chicken with basting sauce (i get my basting sauce from Dawoods Chicken World).


VEGETABLE PIE FILLING


INGREDIENTS 

500G mix vegetables

1 tsp salt

1 tsp tumeric

1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder

½ tsp lemon pepper

1 tsp dhania jeera powder

½ tsp black pepper

1 TBSP plain yogurt

1 onion finely chopped


METHOD

Marinate veg in above ingredients.

In a pot heat some oil and butter and saute the onions. Add the vegetables and cook until vegetables are soft but not mashed and still has some saucy gravy ( not too weak ) remove from heat and cool


Fill pie dough (refer to easy pie dough and creamy steak pie filling).
